Site Decorating, Costume Parade, Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

Site Decorating, Costume Parade, Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

  • 3:00pm **Halloween Part 1 Rec Hall/Playground -Costume Parade
9:00pm **Halloween Part 2 Playground/Ballfield -Glow in the dark Egg Hunt
This event will be a 2 part event with a costume parade to start at 3:00pm. We will have
prices for costumes in various categories. All participants will get a goodie bag. Jackie is
asking for 3 volunteers to be judges for the parade at 3pm. Part 2 will begin at 9:00pm. We
will need all egg hunters to check in BEFORE going on the hunt. All participants will be
given glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets. Once everyone has checked in and received
their glow sticks, they will walk to the ballfield via the bridge by the rec hall and wait at the first telephone pole at the edge of the field. There the kids will be told how many eggs they may collect. The number of eggs is totally dependent on the amount of candy donations. The event is open to all registered campers and their registered visitors. As with last year, candy donations are greatly appreciated. It takes a while to prepare all the bags (last year there was over 300) so if you could drop your candy donation off the week before (by July 15th) it would be greatly appreciated. Jackie will need about 8 volunteers to help with registering participants, chaperoning the ballfield during the egg hunt, and candy bag distribution after the egg hunt.
