Established in 1970, by Edward Labossiere and Clarence Lewis, Twin Ells earned its namesake from Labossiere and Lewis' twin wives, Hattie and Maddie. Over the course of  the last 50 years, the business has been owned and operated by three generations of the family. While the park was recently purchased by Whaling Properties, LLC, owner George Whaling intends to maintain the spirit and community experience enjoyed by our loyal campers. Today, Twin Ells Campsites stands to serve as your northern camping destination, located just miles from the beautiful Lake Champlain.  It is our family's pleasure to bring you and yours the best that camping has to offer.

From the moment you arrive you are welcomed as if part of the family! We were escorted to our site by the owner, who remained until we were parked and felt comfortable with our surroundings. The campground is very clean, well maintained with spacious grassy sites. It is located in a rural setting just a few miles north of Plattsburgh which is convenient to shopping, state parks, and restaurants. The owners and staff are very friendly and are focused on making your stay peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable. On our most recent stay, we had a medical emergency with our pet and had to leave 4 days early. The owner was very understanding, gracious and kind during a very difficult time. We love it there and can't wait for our next stay in June of 2020! You will not be disappointed this campground!

We're coming up on the end of our "unplanned" seasonal stay w/ these fine folks. We're a long way from home, back in TX, & the owners made our stay so nice that we've put down our deposit for next year. The park is really nice. Lots of activities, & the highlight of the stay (for my wife) was when Renee's garden came in - fresh veggies delivered to you site!!

We've spent a week here and it's definitely the 'go to' location in this part of state. I recommend it highly. It's obvious a lot of time, planning and a bit of love went into the design of the campground.   Sites are all well situated with plenty of 'elbow room' between them. All the facilities are very well kept and the staff is extraordinary. I didn't need them too, but they would even park your RV/Camper for you if you wished. The pricing is very reasonable and the extra's like ice, wood etc. seem to be at their cost - no gouging. T here are a lot of things to do if you wish within 30 minutes driving time, most less. Very pleasant experience.

Stayed 2 nights. Park was clean and comfortable but most of all the folks running the park really know how to treat their guests. Do not hesitate to stay in this park. Like I said "nice folks/nice park"
